Did you think Wes Carr would win Australian Idol?

Absolutely. He was the best and most consistent performer of the entire competition. His ability to change a well known arrangement of a song to make it his, and yet still have everyone loving the song, is uncanny. As much as I love most of the final 12 dearly, and the high level of other talent they had, I believe Australia got it right and the best and most deserving performer won. It has been obvious that he was ready to move into the professional arena full time right from the start. He's also a down to earth person without the arrogant ego - actually all of the final 12 were like that too - and it made it so much easier to like him.
