I have a 9mo old Boxer and she keeps digging holes?

She has a playmate and toys, there is a doggydoor for them to go in and out of our kitchen to eat or drink. She mainly digs around the fence line or around objects (pavers, boulders). Is there any sprays or chemicals i can put down? I considered putting habanero peppers in the holes that shes dug.
