How long before I can go out?

I just had a child a couple days ago. The mother, a one night stand, disappeared from the hospital so I brought it home. However, I have to go work out and then go to my buddy's party later tonight. How long does it take for child services to come and take the baby away? Do you think I can just leave it on the doorstep?
