Why do so many college educated people think they are far more intelligent than "uneducated" folks?

Knowledge is power my friend. It doesn't matter if you went to college or not if you are interested in finding and researching the truth, as opposed to blindly believing whatever you hear on whatever media you pay attention to (as is the case with a great many: See War of the Worlds on the radio...people heard it and actually believed that aliens were taking over, and you think people can't be manipulated?). If you aren't aware of your surroundings, you can be easily manipulated, whether you are intelligent or not. Arrogance and stupidity are attributes that provide similar results.
