It does not mean that you have cervical cancer....but the abnormal cells could possibly lead in that direction. The purpose of the pap is to catch the abnormal cells early enough so that they will not turn into cancer. You need to follow up with your doctor and get a coloscopy...so that they can have a better understanding of what is going on with the cells. I do not know how to get around the insurance factor, but you need to find a way to get a follow up.
