Legally carrying prescription pills with me?

Hi, I currently receive medication. I carry it in the prescribed bottle. After just a few days, the label is starting to fade a little. Is there a way that anyone knows to stop the label from fading? If you put scotch tape over it would it still be legal? So I don't get in trouble? I'm in Nevada.
