my boyfriend & I have been together for 41/2 years... we were long distance when we met, so we both accepted the fact that it would be difficult. we are about 2hrs away plane ride.. in the beginning he used to visit me every other month. it kept our relationship strong. then after 2 years of that... he decided to transfer to a school out here to be closer to me. He went home for the summer planning to come back & finish his degree in the fall, so went home for the summer. But now a couple things got mixed up with school scholarships, loans etc,. so it would be easier// less expensive that he finds an internship & finishes off his credits while he can live at home. So this means he isn't coming back; at least not to live. I've always wanted to move to the NYC area..so eventually we will try to establish some things and move in together. you can imagine we've been through A LOT together. more good//inspiring times then bad;) As his girlfriend I know, life has always been a difficulty for him, but he’s always trying to do right- to overcome complications. he is currently going through a lot of difficulties right now.. His grandfather whom he was very close to- ped away back in November, he was here at school, went back for a few days for the burial- but, as I see it, never really had time to grieve. Finances are extremely tight, he is in dire need of a job as well as an internship for school.. Fast. He lives in the NYC area.. Things are equally impossible as there are opportunities. I shared quite a lot of what he’s going through… in your opinion; are these all excuses for our phone convos to be suddenly limited. it might be another 6 months before I see him again- lately we haven’t talked much & when I complain about it, he is easily aggravated. does he not care anymore? I’ll admit I dislike that he is always spending time with his family & doesn’t promptly return calls or text.. actually some days it will go hours.. This is becoming an issue, he feels I’m not understanding enough to his situations. he is struggling & under a lot of pressure to find a job and support his family back home. he also soon going to be preparing to apply to law school....I realize I may have some growing up to do? & will have to be strong & patient. but what’s everyone’s input..... insecurities are getting at me.. My 2 month old laptop is a Sony Vaio and I'm greatly happy with it except for one minuscule, yet incredibly irritating flaw. Somehow, the paint has already worn off on just this one area of the space bar - would it be at all possible to send it anywhere to get it repainted, or would Sony perhaps do it for an x amount of money? Hello all, I am currently in a bit of a bind with one of my credit cards. Last year I definitely made some bad choices with credit, and as a result of the economy, I have had to take a lower paying job (lay offs). I was already way in over my head, and then got pregnant. I had to go on disability for three months, which wasn't much money, and I couldn't pay my creditor. (Capitol One). A judgment was issued against me last month and I am due to be in court. Mild febrile seizure...? Has this happened to anyone else's toddler?

In May, my 18 month old had his first febrile seizure, and it absolutely scarred me, even though thankfully these are known to be harmless. He had an ear infection and they gave him antibiotics. But then he had another one in June, most likely because of some shots he got a few days before. It wasn't as bad, but still sad to see. We took him to the er and they ran tests, did x-rays, etc and nothing came back abnormal. Then yesterday he felt hot to the touch on and off all day, but I couldn't quite catch a temperature with the thermometer... but then last night he sat on the floor and looked kind of spaced out, and seemed like he was drunk or something for a second. Then I sat him on my lap and he seemed alittle bit limp, but not completely. I took his temperature and it was 102.9, and I immediately gave him Motrin and it eventually came down. But there was one point shortly before the Motrin where my husband held him and my hubby said he had a few jerky movements, kind of like muscle spasms. And he still seemed spacey. But then sure enough a few minutes later he was his old self, running around and screaming and goofing off. Could this have been a mild febrile seizure? And do you think I should have him seen a third time for it? I checked him throughout the night, and his last dose of motrin was at 1:30am, and he still doesn't have another fever at 9:30am, right now. He is however getting four teeth at the same time. Could this have caused the high fever? Has anyone else had an experience like this? Thank you for reading all of this :)

I decided a few months ago that fifteen is way too old to not know how to ride a bike so i decided that i was going to learn how to ride a bike as a form of exercise and transportation. Well you might be able to but why chance it? A friend of mine and I just went and we had so much fun! I would suggest if your gonna be there for a few days and are planning on going to a few clubs go to Vegas-pport.com. They have a club hopping pkg for $120 a person that allows VIP access to about 20 different clubs... no cover and you just go right to the bouncer give him your p and the velvet ropes part..... we only went to about 6 clubs in the 4 nights that we were there and I can tell you it was totally worth it. You need to find out what DTC is in the vehicle's PCM(computer). The transmission is a CD4E(I know this because I have a 626 with the same transmission-that I personally rebuilt.). More than likely if jerking exists it could be a faulty VSS(vehicle speed sensor - it fails to respond correct information to the PCM.The PCM does not know what gear to command the transmission into. ).You need to find out what DTC exists to accurately repair it. Once you find a DTC go onto the internet and look up this DTC and find out what other people did to correct this issue.

Are brake dust shields bad for break pads/rotors?

I have an '06 Wrangler Rubicon (Dana 30 solid front axle) and the alloy rims get coated with brake dust in a very short time after cleaning. I don't ride the brakes, even downshift for deceleration, but within a week the front rims are dark gray with dust. Will dust shields cause over heating or any other problems? I don't mind getting the thing muddy but the dust makes my ride look like I don't care.

i live in oakland,ca and i was thinkin about moving to minneapolis, mn. usually people would rent a truck to move, but how am i going to get my car across the state? or i could drive my car there but things like my bed cant fit in my car. it's a compact car. ive never moved out the state before so what should i do? im on my own so i dont have anyone to follow me with the truck. is there a truck that can fit both your car and all your things in it? i dont think my car has the capacity of towing a truck behind it. i was thinkin about just loading my car with the important little things and just rebuy a bed.....? i really want to do this the cheapest easiest way possible.

Knowledge is power my friend. It doesn't matter if you went to college or not if you are interested in finding and researching the truth, as opposed to blindly believing whatever you hear on whatever media you pay attention to (as is the case with a great many: See War of the Worlds on the radio...people heard it and actually believed that aliens were taking over, and you think people can't be manipulated?). If you aren't aware of your surroundings, you can be easily manipulated, whether you are intelligent or not. Arrogance and stupidity are attributes that provide similar results.

I personally believe that whether or not MJ was addicted is not the issue because doctors have a duty to say "No" to their patients when their requests are counterindicated. I believe this is especially the case when dealing with an addict, whom is reasonable to expect will engage in drug seeking behaviors. I also believe it was negligent to use a drug for something other than it's intended and generally approved use, especially in combination with other drugs which magnified the effects of that drug, and then ignore the caution of remaining bedside to monitor the patient on top of everything else. I also believe it's gross negligence not to give the paramedics and hospital to which MJ was rushed information on all drugs given simply to safe guard one's a*s. It may not have made a difference but then again it may have and even if MJ was an addict, being addicted is not worthy of a death sentence but failing to exercise due care when one knows or should know better is criminally negligent. Old style plasterboard?

Its easier and cost efficient to take down the plaster and put up drywall. In the future any repairs you need you wont' have to deal with the mess and hastle. It will also give you a chance to look at any problems lying around that you can fix now. Plaster has a different texture and its thicker than drywall, so you will have a time trying to taper out the edges where its not noticable.

Where to find original aerial photos, where to scan large pics?

I have a number of aerial photos of the farm on which my mother was raised that were taken over the last 50-60 years. I would like to get new prints made as well as have digital copies backed up. They are too large to scan myself, and because they have been displayed they aren't in top form anyway (faded, scratched, etc.). I tried looking up the info found on the back of some of them to see if I could contact any of the businesses that originally sold the photos to my grandparents to see if they have proofs or negatives archived, but either they no longer exist or I just don't have enough info to track them down. Any ideas on how to find the proofs or negatives? The photos were taken in MN about 50 miles southwest of Minneapolis/St.Paul. Where can I take the large photos to have them scanned? Anywhere in Minnesota (twin cities, suburbs) or even the Sioux Falls, SD area would work for taking them to be scanned.

Going to AA, but I'm not an alcoholic am I?

I am in an alcoholic outpatient rehab program and attending AA nightly as part of that treatment program. The thing is, I don't think I'm an alcoholic, after participating in this program & attending AA. Before this program started, I did drink two to three gles of wine a night, sometimes four and when I "party," I drink about four or five Margaritas, which is about once a month. I have blacked out before a couple of times and made a total fool of myself, but who hasn't? I did drive after those four or five Margaritas, but that was after about four hours. I admit, I've driven drunk a lot in my life, but not for about a year. Yes, I do need alcohol, but now that it has been a week in this program, I've been able to stop. So, really, do I have a problem and should I even be in rehab? My doctor thought so, but I think he is just too overly cautious. Also, I take antidepressants, anti anxiety meds & meds for bipolar. I am a huge fan of priest. They defined metal in my opinion and in so many interviews with even modern death metal or any other type of metal bands they often cite one of their main influences as Priest. But the question has always riddled me which guitarist i think is better, Downing or Tipton. Downings a divebomb and Tipton has that speed clic skill but i could never decide, in my opinion these two are easily some of the most underrated guitarists ever. i Would easily put them both in my top 30 list of greatest guitarists, but as we all know its all an opinion of style. Anyway i first preferred Downing, but i noticed that as the band grew in years both of their skills with the axe grew. Lately i've been kinda preferring Tiptons rifts, but like i said they are both amazing with the best chemistry of any 2 guitarists ive ever seen on stage. So my question is who do you prefer?
